Hello I am Gemma, otherwise known as 'Gem' for short and I founded GEM | Gemma Edwards Marketing a global marketing consultancy UK & UAE. After 15 years of working direct for various key retailers, e-tailers and charity visitor attractions in the UK & UAE, I have taken the exciting leap into starting my own marketing consultancy GEM. My experience started in the UK and grew internationally when I was headhunted to work abroad in Dubai, UAE. From there onwards my experience has grown from my grass roots in visual merchandising through to creative, brand and digital marketing. I have been referred to as a 'swiss army knife' having diverse marketing skillsets widely across omnichannel both in retail stores and online in digital and ecommerce. Having worked for large fashion, home and lifestyle retailers in both the GCC/MENA region and the UK. Including established e-tailers and retailers Dryrobe®, Kit Heath, Laura Ashley, the gardening charities/visitor attractions The Royal Horticultural Society and Eden Project in the UK as well as international retailers Homecentre, Landmark Group and Redtag, BMA Group in Dubai UAE.
